The ZCM-31 digital control clocks are used to implement time functions in automation and control systems. Switching the device on / off is related to sunrise and sunset (civil dawn and twilight). In the calculation of sunrise and sunset times, information about the geographic coordinates of the place where the clock is installed is used,
current date and offset from universal time. The system calculates the end of civil twilight, the phase where the center of the sun's disc is 6 degrees below the horizon - the sun's disc is not visible but the sky is illuminated by diffused sunlight. The system additionally has the function of a programmed night break and the possibility of shifting the calculated sunrise / sunset time in the range of ± 120 min. The design of the housing allows the system to be mounted on a TH 35 rail and, if necessary, to be sealed. The design of the system guarantees battery backup of all settings in the absence of power supply.
